Leading builders set to show off their latest designs at Brentwood Rise

Ipswich Mayor Paul Pisasale was on hand this week to oversee the finishing touches of Investa Property Group’s Brentwood Rise display village at Augustine Heights.

“This is the first display village in the Ipswich region for nearly a decade and Investa should be really proud of what they have achieved at Brentwood Rise, it’s a quality neighbourhood which appeals to a range of buyers.

“I am sure there will be lots of people coming out this weekend to see what is on offer. I’ll be there and I’m looking forward to inspecting the homes and meeting the builders – and that includes Bob the Builder!” Mayor Pisasale said.

The display village launch coincides with Investa Property Group arranging for complimentary mortgage insurance for all purchasers of homes and land at Investa Property Group’s residential estates – at Investa’s expense, new homebuyers will now have access to insurance that may reduce the impact of involuntary unemployment on their ability to meet mortgage repayments*.

The display village launch coincides with the commencement of Investa’s Mortgage Minder campaign which aims to reduce the impact of involuntary unemployment on a purchasers’ ability to meet mortgage repayments.

Lloyd Jenkins, Group Executive Officer, Investa Land said research indicated that the threat of involuntary unemployment and the resulting inability to make mortgage repayments remains a concern for many potential new homebuyers.

“Through Mortgage Minder insurance, Investa is arranging for insurance to help homebuyers meet monthly mortgage repayments in the event of unexpected job loss, and accidental injury cover. This may enable many families to take advantage of the current low interest rates and become new home owners,” Mr Jenkins said.

Mortgage Minder insurance is available to both owner-occupiers and investors, and both single and joint purchasers. Should either of the joint purchasers become involuntarily unemployed, they may apply for the benefit.
Clarendon Homes Sales Manager Matt Barr said his company was looking forward to showcasing their two display homes in the village.

“Opening new display homes is an exciting time for builders. There’s a lot of thought that goes into the design and layout and the litmus test will be on Sunday when the public walks through the doors.

“Clarendon is thrilled to be a part of this display village. Building two display homes reflects the confidence we have in the Brentwood Rise neighbourhood and the future of the Ipswich region.” Mr Barr said.
